Road Trip

our friend julia had her mom, maryann, and her stepdad, mike, visting this past week from detroit. lucky for us we got to squeeze in a road trip to south lake tahoe before the holiday weekend. on the way there we stopped off in sacramento to meet christina & baby zeke for lunch. he's grown so much from the last time i saw him at 12 hours old. after lunch we went over to look at christina's new house! yes, i'm so jealous! it'll make for a great, cozy home for the new growing family.

we stopped a few more times on the way to s. lake tahoe for some photo ops. we had a great time and the photos show it! enjoy.

Rossi Park

today was the opening celebration of the new rossi park and since it's about 3 blocks away from our apartment so we had to go! the playground has been completely redone with new toys, recycled tire turf, new benches, tables and lovely green grass. before they officially opened the park they gave a speech about how much work and efforts went into the new park. there were so many kids waiting to rush the new swings & slides it was hard for them to contain themselves. finally gavin newsome (the mayor of san francisco) went up to the podium to speak then he cut the red ribbon. you should've seen all the kids running... it was so much fun.

alec came to the park after playing golf to check it out. he also wanted to make sure he told gavin newsome to keep the golf courses in the city open. he loves his golf! thumbs up.

Lucia + Bianca + Fran

a few weeks ago i got to shoot my friend lucia, her sister bianca and their mom fran. it rained that day but that didn't stop us. we met at the legion of honor which was closed so we had it all to ourselves. at the end the muni bus drove up and while the driver took a little break he let us on the bus to shoot.

Mother's Day

happy mother's day to all the moms!

i didn't see my mom yesterday but we hung out earliler in the week. i snapped this picture of her, my *mama*. i'll be seeing her this weekend for bay to breakers, so much fun!

Ingrid + Anthony's Wedding

on saturday i was a second photographer at ingrid & anthony's wedding up near sebastopol. the weather was beautiful, the location was very cool and it was quite a wedding celebration! i had lots of fun running around snapping so many pictures of the lovely couple and their guests.

Meet Zeke

yesterday my best friend gave birth to a baby boy! introducing zeke! he was so warm and cuddly with his super cute chubby cheeks. daddy, mommy & baby are all doing good.

i was able to snap off a few photos of him before he turned twelve hours old. i have a feeling i'll be taking lots more pictures of this little baby over the next 18 years.
